Science Odyssey: What’s REALLY in Your Yogurt?

Science Odyssey: What’s REALLY in Your Yogurt?

Dear Concordia Food Studies Members,

As part of this year’s Science Odyssey, a national NSERC-organized event to celebrate science, Concordia University is inviting families with children ages 10+ to a special workshop this coming weekend.

Sunday, May 14, Milieux member Maya Hey presents, What’s REALLY in Your Yogurt?  This FREE workshop invites participants to learn about fermented foods, and create their very own petri-dish experiments. Junior Scientists will also receive a tour through our Speculative Life Lab Exhibition, to see more ways science is being used to reveal the unseen world around us.

What’s REALLY in Your Yogurt? takes place from 1 – 4 pm in room 11.725 of Concordia’s EV building (1515 Ste. Catherine St. West), at the Sir George Williams campus.

Registration is required, see website below.

Minors must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
